Culzean Castle and Country Park is often described as the 'Jewel in the Crown' for the National Trust of Scotland. Built on a cliff top and marvellously restored. Culzean offers beautiful gardens, an adventure playground, a deer park and an unspoiled beach. A great day out for all the family and only a 20 minute drive South of Ayr.

Burns Heritage

 

Ayr is the birthplace of Robert Burns, the National Bard. No trip to Ayr is complete without a tour of the local Burns Heritage attractions such as Burns Cottage and the highly acclaimed Tam O'Shanter Experience both located within 5 minutes drive from Ayr town centre and West of the Moon.

Ayr Racecourse is the premier racecourse in Scotland and home to the Coral Scottish Grand National and William Hill Gold Cup Festivals. Ayr offers first class flat racing and quality jumps racing and is the only Grade 1 track in Scotland.

 

There is always a buzz throughout Ayr on race days and West of the Moon is the perfect location in Ayr town centre to begin your night with Club de Mar situated right next door.

At Heads of Ayr Farm Park, whatever the weather, you'll find plenty to see and do, with activities for all ages. This award winning attraction has 50 different types of animal, each with its own charm. A 10 minute drive from Ayr, it's packed with fun activities like indoor and outdoor play areas, an aerial runway, tunnel land and the combine castle.

 

Ayr Seafront

 

A family can spend hours here with plenty to keep you occupied whatever the age. There is a fantastic adventure playpark situated across the road from Ayr's sandy beach. And the best part, its free!
